Gonzalo Luján, a 23-year-old Argentine from San Lorenzo, has been confirmed as the latest addition to the squad.

According to AS, Raúl Sanllehí, Director of Operations at Inter Miami, shared his thoughts on the importance of the signing: “Bringing in a young, versatile defender like Gonzalo Luján will be key for the 2025 season.
“He adds quality depth to our first team and strengthens our defensive unit. His versatility will be a valuable asset, as he can play multiple positions along the backline.”

Despite a solid offensive performance, their defense was a clear vulnerability, and bringing in Luján will hopefully remedy that issue.
