The Argentine winger, who joined Celta de Vigo in the summer of 2023, has had limited participation in LaLiga, playing three games and scoring two goals in just 100 minutes of play, as indicated by Transfermark.

1. Jonathan Bamba – Chicago Fire (permanent transfer)

The big move on this list is the purchase of Jonathan Bamba by Chicago Fire, in a historic transfer.

At 28 years old, the Ivorian winger arrives in MLS with an impressive track record, having been:

  • Ligue 1 and French Super Cup champion with Lille
  • 2024 African Cup of Nations champion with Ivory Coast.

Bamba is a player with great offensive quality and experience in high-level competitions, making him one of the future stars of MLS 2025.

These three signings demonstrate the growing appeal of MLS for players looking for continuity and prominence outside of Europe’s big five leagues.

With the start of the 2025 season just around the corner, the arrival of players of this caliber only reinforces the growth and competitiveness of the American league.
