Nicolas Rodriguez joins Orlando City until 2027

Orlando City has taken a significant step by signing Colombian striker Nicolas Rodriguez, from Fortaleza CEIF of the BetPlay League of Colombia.

The signing was made under the U22 initiative, with a contract that runs until 2027, with an option to renew until 2028. Considered one of the biggest prospects in Colombian football, Rodriguez is known for his attacking ability and potential to shine in MLS.

Since his debut in July 2021, Rodríguez has racked up 73 professional appearances, scoring 12 goals and assisting on 8 occasions.

His development at Fortaleza CEIF has been key to his growth, standing out as a highly talented player who is now making an important leap to MLS.

With Orlando City, Rodríguez hopes to make an immediate impact and become a starter, wearing the team’s uniform with pride and contributing to a successful 2025 season.
