The current transfer window in MLS is marking a turning point in the league, with moves that have paralyzed the soccer world.
Teams are strengthening themselves with significant foreign acquisitions, adding quality to the American league.
San Diego FC, for example, has reached an agreement to add a lethal striker from Europe, a key move for its debut season in MLS.
Meanwhile, Orlando City continues to bet on young talent, securing the signing of Nicolás Rodríguez, a promising Colombian attacker from Fortaleza CF, a club known for producing quality players for international soccer.

AC Milan wants to sign Giovanni Reyna in this transfer window
The transfer market also puts the spotlight on American footballers, who are currently performing fantastically. Giovanni Reyna, a star of the United States national team, is evaluating his future with a possible view to AC Milan.
The Italian club have reportedly opened talks with Reyna’s agent for a transfer worth between €15-18m, an attractive figure for his current club, Borussia Dortmund.
However, AC Milan have not yet made an approach to Dortmund, which leaves a number of questions in the Italian side’s interest in Gio Reyna, where he would be a fantastic addition to join Gio Reyna and Christian Pulisic in Serie A.
Giovanni Reyna’s career at Dortmund
Reyna, at 22, has already had an outstanding career at Borussia Dortmund, from the academy to the first team.
Transfermark tells us that he has a total of 132 games played, 19 goals and 17 assists under his belt, and has competed in major tournaments such as the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Bundesliga and German Cup.
This track record makes a potential move to AC Milan a significant move in his career, although formal talks between the clubs have yet to begin, which could be the only stumbling block to the transfer.
